Manhunt 2 taken off store shelves

One week after being released with a reduced ESRB rating of M, Manhunt 2 is being taken off store shelves.

Shortly after the games release last week, hackers immediatly started breaking into the game’s files and unveiled the content that got the game the original rating of AO (Adults Only.) This brought more heat onto Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive. This was a bad reminder of what happened with Hot Coffee.

Controversy with parents, stores, and Take-Two arose quickly afterwards.

Some stores have gone as far as to taking the game of the shelves. One of the confirmed stores is Target. The Target headquarters contacted all of their stores and instructed them to put aside their shipments of the Manhunt 2 video game.
