Drake’s Fortune, an amazing Indiana Jones style game.

The new Playstation 3 game, “Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune“, combines elements of “Tomb Raider,” “Indiana Jones” and “Pitfall!” into an adventure worth discovering.

You play as treasure hunter Nathan Drake, who’s on the trail of the mythical El Dorado fortune left behind centuries ago by Sir Francis Drake. He’s not the only one seeking the treasure. You’ll come across a lot of dangerous tasks on your journey. He is also quite the athlete. He jumps along cliffs and does other death defying stunts.

He’s equally adept with guns, which you’ll need to defend yourself against an army of greedy rivals seeking the same fortune. You can use fisticuffs, but hand-to-hand combat feels underpowered when you can pick off foes with an AK-47.

This game is in the same style of “Gears of War” for the Xbox 360. You have to use cover and flank the enemy for success in the game.

The action in this game is quite something. The enemies are a big part of it. They are the kind that will take cover and work in groups.

This game truly shows great quality on a high-definition television. The outdoors with water and trees really shows the detail that was put into this game.

The game is average in length of gameplay time, and there is no multiplayer; but this shouldn’t stop you from getting this game.
