Daily News for January 30th, 2008.

  • Scheduled for a release in October of 2009, a SAW movie tie-in game has been announced. The game will follow the Saw movie plotlines. A teaser trailer was released at a recent Brash Entertainment press event.
  • A rumor that was crushed earlier today was that Halo Wars was going to have a port on the PC from the already scheduled Xbox 360 version. This is in fact just a rumor, and Microsoft has confirmed that there is no PC version in development.
  • On a story that we have been following closely, we have more updates on the “PS3 80GB discontinued and 120GB PS3 coming” story. Sony has been contacted about these rumors, and responded by saying:

“We don’t comment on rumors or speculation. Any rumors on separate PS3 configurations or package arrangements are just that — rumors and speculation.”

I’m sure we will hear more about this soon.

  • The final add-on packs for Folklore have been announced and detailed. Read more.
