  • DICE 2008 was a time of celebration for some game developers; especially for the makers of Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, and The Orange Box who won big at the Interactive Achievment Awards. Read the entire list of winners here.
  • GameTribe will launch Dakaron’s closed beta on Feburary 22nd in Europe. Restricted access is available, only people that have signed up ahead of time can join in on the fun. Dakaron is an upcoming MMO.
  • The Swedish flash game developer Muskedunder Interactive announced yesterday that it has acquired the independent game developer Free Lunch Design.
  • It appears that the rumors that spread the internet on Thursday of Viacom buying out Take-Two Interactive were false. There is no such deal in the works.
  • The Lost Planet demo, that was released just a couple of days ago on the Playstation Network, has recently been taken down from the store. The demo was removed to “address issues that have come to light,” said Chris Kramer in a post on the Playstation Blog. No time has been given to when the demo is expected to make a return.
  • The Official, Official site of Grand Theft Auto IV has been officially launched. This means that the final version of the site is now live. It’s amazing. So go take a look right here.
